There are no lyrics to this song, although I considered rapping this poem I wrote for Lara Gonzalez AKA "Madam Gonzo." over the solo section.... maybe sometime at a live gig... Madam Gonzo’s Message of Love We call her Ms. Gonzo When she gives you one of her famous hugs You can feel your blood pumping through heart Like a shot of adrenaline or an electric shock Through your body Down to your feet that start To dance in rhythm to the drums From Ghana as your head gets light, light, lighter Dizzy like smokin’ marijuana Look out when she’s behind the wheel Of her Beetle, threading the needle Of that traffic jam, excuse me mam You’re takin’ your chances “Tire tracks all across your back,” Like Uncle Jimi once sang…. As she makes a joyful noise Dances with grace and poise Corkscrew hair and eyes like turquoise Ancestors from Mexico, Ireland, Italy With her bright new dawn smile and loads of style Taking care of the old folks Teaching the young Keeping her beat free Rooted like a tree The drum, the wood Does our hearts good As her hands caress its skin Again and again Delivering her message of love
